Each assignment is thoughtfully structured—one at the primary level (grades 3-4), the other at the middle school level (grades 7-8)—allowing you to focus on individualized learning strategies and meaningful relationships.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the relevant grade bands (elementary and/or middle school)
• Prior classroom or co-teaching experience strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
• Solid understanding of special education laws, accommodations, and instructional approaches
• Collaborative communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Creative mindset with adeptness at managing a small, focused caseload

Core Responsibilities:

• Co-teach in either a primary or middle school environment, collaborating on instruction and classroom management
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with a variety of learning needs
• Engage regularly with families and educational teams to track student progress
• Adapt and differentiate lessons to maximize student engagement and success in both one-on-one and group settings
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom culture
