North Star Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition following collisions or damage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in automotive body repair techniques, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle body damage, including dents, scratches, and collision repairs
• Perform welding, sanding, and painting tasks to restore vehicle exteriors
• Use hand and power tools to remove and replace damaged parts and panels
• Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and industry safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with estimators and other team members to complete repairs efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive body shop technician or similar role
• Proficient in the use of body repair tools and equipment
• Knowledge of automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
