Treatment Coordinator

Now Hiring: Treatment Coordinator | Cary St. Charles Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to creating a 5-star patient experience by helping patients understand their treatment, navigate insurance benefits, coordinate appointments, and achieve their oral health goals. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, delivering a welcoming and professional experience.
- Manage a multi-line phone system to schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while optimizing provider schedules
- Ensure schedules remain productive and filled for doctors and hygienists.
- Collect and update patient personal and insurance information in Denticon accurately.
- Check in and check out patients with professionalism and care.
- Present and review treatment plans to promote case acceptance.
- Educate patients on recommended treatment, financial options, and insurance benefits.
- Help assist in verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, maintaining accurate records.
- Process payments and enforce financial policies accurately and courteously.
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support office operations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental front office, treatment coordinator, patient coordinator, or similar dental administrative role.
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification, treatment planning, and financial arrangements.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- A professional and polished demeanor with strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional patient experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computers
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up 15- 20 lbs.
