We are seeking an Outdoor Dining Food Runner to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Food Runner will be responsible for servicing guests, assisting with functions for the server(s), delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently. This role will include assisting in the maintenance of the restaurant, pool area and equipment, and providing lateral service when necessary.

We have a part-time position available.

This role is a flexible position (AM / PM) and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

This role is designated for our oceanfront restaurant, Breeze Ocean Kitchen.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service. (desired)
• Certification in Alcohol awareness program. (desired)
• Certification in Food Handlers program. (desired)

Essential Skills:

• Ability to understand guest’s service needs.
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time.
• Transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner and also to the lounge as needed.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking.
• Ability to perform physical responsibilities, including lifting and transporting items of varying weights, with or without accommodation.
