Organization: VMG Staffing Oper Adlt Team 20 Job Summary: Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Fosters professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to Board of Nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum. Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis. Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress toward goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment. Other duties may be assigned as they fall within the scope of the position. Technical Capabilities Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice) : Demonstrates proficiency in assessing and evaluating patients, conducting primary care patient interviews, and physical examinations. Care Planning (Novice) : Anticipates resource needs, identifies tasks, sets priorities, schedules activities, and manages multiple assignments simultaneously. Nursing Patient Education (Novice) : Provides patient education in moderate difficulty applications. Evidence‑Based Practice (Novice) : Searches for evidence to answer clinical questions under supervision. Qualifications Certification: LIC-Registered Nurse – Licensure required. Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. Education: Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program.
