Behavior Technician (BT) - Full-Time Position

Job Summary:

Astra ABA is seeking a passionate and experienced Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapists in Salemburg, NC . As a BT, you will play a vital role in providing individualized therapy to children in their homes, supporting them on their journey to realizing their full potential. Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home settings, implementing treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.

• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET) to support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.

• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.

• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach.

• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA, adhering to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.

• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience with aggression needed.

Work Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Salary:

$25 - $30 per hour
