Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor components of the treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, range of motion activities, gait training, transfers, and functional mobility
• Support activities of daily living training and adaptive equipment education as directed
• Document patient responses and progress clearly in the medical record; communicate changes to the supervising PT
• Maintain patient and staff safety, apply infection control practices, and ensure proper equipment handling and cleaning
• Collaborate with the rehab team to adjust treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States; ability to participate in a travel assignment
• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment in Salem, NH
• Ability to work the scheduled shift (08:00–16:30), totaling 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a supervising physical therapist and care team
• Familiarity with PTA scope of practice, including therapeutic exercises, ROM, gait training, transfers, and ADLs
