Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed PT, following the plan of care for LTAC/SNF patients.
- Facilitate therapeutic exercise, range of motion, gait training, functional activities, transfers, and safety with appropriate assistive devices.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment, assist with wheelchair and transfer tasks, and document patient progress and response to therapy.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety strategies, and home programs; provide written instructions when appropriate.
- Communicate patient status, progress, and any changes in condition to the supervising PT and multidisciplinary team; ensure compliance with policies and documentation standards.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associates degree)
- Ability to work in a long-term acute care / skilled nursing setting
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 07/06/2026
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
