Senior Quality Engineer

Stryker seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to oversee product and process quality for medical device manufacturing in Michigan. The role involves cross-functional collaboration on compliance, quality issue resolution, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve product and process quality performance with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Lead new product transfers, launches, and manufacturing scale-up activities with cross-functional partners
- Support non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues and corrective action management
- Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and implement risk mitigation actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years quality engineering or manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience with non-conformance investigations and corrective/preventive actions
- Medical device industry experience preferred
- Statistical analysis skills and quality data interpretation preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
- GD&T and metrology equipment experience preferred
Compensation: $89,300 - $148,800 USD annual
