Job Description
Title: Night Shift - Medical Unit

Schedule:
Night shift - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible with various shift lengths and days.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements:
- Hawaii License required by the start of assignment
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2-10 years of experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Familiarity with Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a medical unit setting.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatments.
- Participate in unit-based activities to improve patient care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start date.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for the employee health appointment.
- Dress Code: Professional nursing attire.
- Orientation time provided for each unit.
