Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across five school sites in the Littlerock, CA area. This full-time position offers a dynamic workweek, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 40+ hours. Immediate start is available, allowing you to make a swift and meaningful impact in the educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure
- Previous experience working in school-based OT settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads across multiple locations
- Familiarity with IEP development and student progress documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize students’ educational access and participation
- Conduct assessments and document student progress and needs
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities tailored to each student’s goals
- Travel among five nearby school campuses as part of your weekly rotation
- Maintain professional, accurate records and reporting in compliance with school guidelines
