Patient Care Technician - General Internal Medicine - 7p - 7aThe General Internal Medicine unit is a 25-bed medical oncology unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients ranging in age from 18 – 95. Four monitored beds are designated for melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, sarcoma, cervical, ovarian, thoracic and pancreatic cancer patients receiving high-dose bolus interleukin-2 and/or targeted cellular therapy requiring cardiac monitoring. Primary populations treated include: melanoma, sarcoma and GI patients receiving complex chemotherapeutic and bio-immunotherapeutic regimens and all solid tumor cancer patients receiving immune effector cell therapy.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably one year of healthcare experience. They work well on a care team, assisting with patient activities, vital signs, and maintaining a safe environment while ensuring accurate patient information updates.Working hours: The working hours for this role will be 7p-7a.
