Sales Support SpecialistPosition SummaryCE3S is seeking an organized, customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to our sales team. This position plays an important role in supporting customers, processing sales transactions, following up on opportunities, and helping the sales team deliver a high level of service.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare customer quotes and process sales orders accurately and promptlyProvide administrative support to the sales teamFollow up on sales leads received from vendors and other sourcesMonitor open orders, scheduled orders, and ship-complete ordersCommunicate order status, delivery updates, and potential delaysWork with vendors to expedite orders, confirm delivery dates, address backorders, and obtain updated pricingProvide telephone and email support to customers as neededResearch products, availability, pricing, and alternative solutionsMaintain accurate customer, contact, opportunity, and activity information in the company's CRM systemEducate customers about the products, services, and resources available through CE3SHelp ensure orders are shipped on time and sales transactions are completed efficientlyProactively identify and help resolve customer or order-related issuesDevelop familiarity with vendor websites, product resources, and industry informationParticipate in product, vendor, and internal training as assignedWork closely with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service personnelPerform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the businessQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least two years of related sales support, customer service, order processing, or administrative experience preferredKnowledge of electronic products or the electronics manufacturing industry is preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional and confident telephone skillsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamComfortable learning product information, pricing, and internal business systemsExperience using CRM, ERP, or order-processing software is preferredProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferredBenefitsFollowing satisfactory completion of the 90-day introductory period, eligible employees receive a competitive benefits package that includes:Multiple medical insurance plan options through Capital BlueCross401(k) retirement plan About CE3SCumberland Electronics Strategic Supply Solutions (CE3S) is a family-owned wholesale distributor serving electronics manufacturers with production supplies, strategic sourcing, inventory management, and value-added solutions.
