Full Job Description Nurse Practitioner/PA - Electrophysiology Cardiology Inpatient / Outpatient Sarasota/Venice FL Permanent Job Heart Rhythm Consultants is growing and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced out‑patient/inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/PA to join our team. These clinics and hospitals are located in Sarasota/Venice. The candidate must have board certification and relevant routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years with at least 500 acute‑care inpatient encounters or have graduated in the past 18 months or be a board‑certified adult/acute nurse practitioner graduated by July 2024 with relevant routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years including at least 1000 acute‑care inpatient encounters. Responsibilities Office visits. Assist in the management and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Perform inpatient rounding. Appropriately admit and discharge patients. Accept patient transfers. Provide immediate preoperative care and postoperative care, including all orders, charting, and consents. Proactively identify complications, encompassing medical and surgical complications, and communicate findings. Assist with continuity of patient care by troubleshooting and assessing clinical issues in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prefer two years of experience working as NP/PA in a related field. Master's degree in Nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Unrestricted APN - Nurse Practitioner License in FL (DORA). DEA license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Skills General health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills. Electrophysiology experience. Ability to function independently.
