Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring cardiac progressive care experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 48-bed Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) at a Joint Commission Certified Advanced Heart Failure facility in Indianapolis, IN
• Patient population includes Heart Failure, ACS/AMI, STEMI, post-cath, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, pre-surgical (VAD, transplant, CABG), pulmonary HTN, and patients on cardiac drips
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on both days and nights
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
