Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) – New York, N Y

Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Part-Time

• $45 per 30-minute individual therapy session
• $67.50 per 30-minute group therapy session
  

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide therapy services to children, improve mobility and motor skills, and support developmental goals through individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children's physical abilities and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Follow professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred.
• Pediatric Physical Therapy certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  

Schedule

• Therapy services are provided Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 2:40 PM.
• School holidays and scheduled winter and spring breaks observed.
• Six-week summer program: four weeks in July and two weeks in August.
• No on-call or weekend work required.
