Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy / Procedural Sedation – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8-hour rotating start times between 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM. Weeknight call requirement. Flexibility required to stay past shift end to complete daily schedule.

Highlights:

• Provide procedural care for GI and pulmonary procedures including ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and Bronchoscopy
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation using RN-driven assessment approach with Ramsay Sedation Scale
• Pre/post procedure care across all levels including PACU Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Work in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic medical center with Epic EMR
• Daily census of 20-25 patients across 4 procedure rooms
• 20 hours of orientation provided; up to two pre-approved time off requests permitted

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license (pending WI license accepted with submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care endoscopy/procedural sedation
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma center or similar academic hospital setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency in administering and recovering moderate sedation for GI and pulmonary procedures
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system required
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required; CGRN preferred
• Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (strict passing criteria applies)
• Experience with airway management, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV placement and management, and specimen handling
• Ability to work bedside high-acuity procedures in ICU and ED settings as needed
• Willingness to float to other units as required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
