You'll work independently or alongside other installers to complete equipment replacements, new construction installations, and system upgrades while providing outstanding customer service.Responsibilities include:Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and accessoriesInstall ductwork, gas piping, refrigeration lines, condensate drains, and related system componentsComplete equipment change-outs, replacements, and new construction installationsPerform system start-up, testing, charging, and commissioningRead and interpret installation drawings and manufacturer specificationsEnsure installations comply with local codes and company quality standardsCommunicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and team membersMaintain organized job sites and company vehiclesFollow all company safety policies and proceduresMentor less experienced installers when needed and contribute to a positive team environmentQualificationsTwo or more years of residential HVAC installation experience preferredValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordStrong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, ductwork, refrigeration piping, gas piping, and electrical systemsExperience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality productsAbility to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure proper system performanceWorking knowledge of low-voltage controls and HVAC wiringAbility to read blueprints, installation diagrams, and manufacturer specificationsEPA Certification preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to safely lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditionsCompensation and Benefits$21.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience and qualificationsIncentive opportunitiesHealth insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with up to a 4% company matchTool program assistancePaid training and continuing educationCareer advancement opportunitiesStable, year-round employmentIf you're an experienced HVAC installer looking for a company that values craftsmanship, rewards hard work, and provides long-term career opportunities, Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning is ready to invest in your future.
