• Duration: Ongoing, with 10-14 shifts per month
• Shift: 6am6pm (facility) / 6pm6am (on-call), 12-hour shifts
• Hours/week: 40+
• Employment Type: Contract
• License/Certs: MI State Licensure, Board Certification in Neonatology preferred or eligible
• Experience: Preferred at least 2 years in NICU or neonatal care

What You'll Do:

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting
• Perform critical procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, and spinal taps
• Manage ventilator support, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• Stabilize infants for transport and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and treat conditions such as respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, PVH, and NAS
• Collaborate with a knowledgeable team of RNs, RTs, pediatric specialists, and support services
• Document care accurately in Cerner EHR system

What You Need:

• Active state license or eligibility to practice in Michigan
• Certification: NRP, and preferred board certification in Neonatology
• At least 2 years of neonatal ICU experience
• Skills in neonatal resuscitation, invasive procedures, ventilator management, and emergency care
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment
