Inventory Control Process Coordinator
Position Summary
ALULA is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Inventory Control Process Coordinator to support and improve inventory operations within our dry blend co-packing facility. This role is responsible for helping ensure inventory accuracy, lot traceability, FEFO/FIFO compliance, ERP data integrity, and alignment with food safety and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving operational problems, improving processes, writing clear procedures, and collaborating across warehouse, production, quality, and supply chain teams. This is a hands-on role that combines inventory control, process improvement, documentation, training, and compliance support.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and improve inventory control processes across receiving, storage, production, and shipping
Develop, update, and maintain inventory SOPs and work instructions
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and transaction reviews
Ensure proper lot tracking, FEFO/FIFO rotation, and traceability practices
Monitor ERP inventory transactions and assist with resolving discrepancies
Partner with warehouse, production, quality, and finance teams to improve operational efficiency
Support SQF, FSMA, and food safety compliance requirements
Train team members on inventory procedures and process updates
Assist with physical inventories, mock recalls, and audit preparation
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain experience in manufacturing or food production
Experience writing SOPs, procedures, or operational documentation
Understanding of inventory rotation practices such as FEFO/FIFO
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience in food manufacturing, co-packing, or ingredient processing
Familiarity with SQF, FSMA, or food safety standards
ERP or warehouse management system experience
Experience supporting audits or inventory compliance programs
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
