Position Details

• Position: Resident Care Assistant full time 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. and every other weekend. Part-Time 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Every Other Weekend. PRN Days/Evenings and nights.
• Unit: 24-Bed Assisted Living Community
• Pay Rate: $12.50 – $13.25 per hour

What You'll Do

As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life by:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Supporting residents with mobility and transfers according to individualized service plans
• Escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the community
• Serving meals in the dining room or resident apartments
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical condition, eating habits, or behavior
• Promoting a safe, comfortable, and caring environment
• Providing services in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Preferred: Current Alabama CNA certification
• Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification
• Required: One year or more of experience as a CNA, Resident Care Assistant, or in a related caregiving role
• Required: A genuine passion for working with older adults
• Required: Excellent attendance and dependability
• Required: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
