Tax Accountant

Location : Tuscaloosa, AL (Onsite)


Our client is looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant to play a key role in supporting the overall tax function, partnering close with the Tax Director to maintain compliance, reporting and strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

• Help prepare and review the quarterly and annual tax provision, partnering closely with the accounting team.
• Support tax compliance across federal, state and local and international jurisdictions, including working with outside advisors.
• Contribute ideas and insights around tax planning to help the company operate as efficiently as possible from a tax perspective.
• Work closely with the accounting and finance teams on tax-related items that impact reporting, forecasts and overall financials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field]
• 2 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment.,
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred
• Experience with ASC 740 and corporate tax compaliance
