Come join our award winning over 12,000 strong organization as we fuel the world and each other!SummaryThis position will be a key member of a small team responsible for the forecasting, budgeting and financial results analysis of Energy Transfer’s margin generating activities, as well as supporting joint venture financial reporting and budget presentations. This candidate will need the ability to operate in a fast paced, collaborative environment, and will work closely with multiple groups across the Partnership. This position will be based in our Houston office.Primarily Roles & Responsibilities: ·Assist in the creation of the forecasts and annual budgets for revenue/margin-generating activitiesPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and presentations, including the Quarterly Financial Analysis package utilized by senior leadership in preparation for our quarterly earnings callMaintain and improve excel-based models utilized for generating forecasts and budgetPrepare analysis, forecasts, and budgets for delivery and presentation to our joint venture partnersBuild a productive relationship with commercial, accounting, and operations groupsAssist with the preparation of quarterly external documents, including the 10-Q and 10-K filingsUnderstand and estimate the potential financial impact of changing market conditions and trendsAnalyze, understand, and explain monthly accounting entriesSupport the FP&A Director and the Vice President of Finance in responding to requests and ad-hoc analysis required from internal and external customersRequirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field with a strong GPA0-2 years of relevant job-related experienceAbility to communicate clearly, verbally, and writtenIntermediate or higher Excel skillsTime-management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience:2 or more years of relevant financial analyst experience, preferably within the energy industryMaster’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or progress towards an advanced degreeWorking Conditions:Usually, normal office working conditionsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standingOccasional overnight travel may be requiredOccasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
