Machine Operator
Shift:
1st 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday
2nd 4:30pm-2:55am Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday
3rd 10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday- Will train on first shift for a few weeks
Responsibilities
- Reference work orders to set up production lines accurately for each product run.
- Lead the setup of production filling lines and operate equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Adjust machine settings and perform minor repairs as needed to achieve product specifications and meet quality standards.
- Document all production activities accurately in accordance with GMP requirements using Product History Records (PHRs).
- Inspect bottles placed on the line to ensure they meet quality requirements before filling.
- Monitor filling and packaging equipment to ensure it operates effectively and consistently.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure correct fill levels and weights are maintained throughout the run.
- Communicate promptly with manufacturing leaders about any product that does not meet quality standards.
- Verify that all correct raw materials are used for each specific production run.
- Complete and submit all required documentation and production logs accurately and on time.
- Troubleshoot issues on filling equipment to restore production quickly and efficiently.
- Follow all safety guidelines in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area at all times.
- Use hand and power tools safely for machine setup, adjustments, and light troubleshooting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gurnee, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
