Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, formulating individualized treatment plans, and adjusting them as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Providing therapy services, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support clients through their unique challenges.

• Engaging in regular supervision and collaboration with peers to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous professional development.
\n
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Facilitating both telehealth and in-person therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to healing and growth, whether at home or in our outpatient office.

• Participating in community outreach and education initiatives aimed at increasing access to mental health resources for underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and families who are seeking guidance through various life experiences. You will work with clients grappling with issues such as trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique cultural and emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for the LMFT position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in California.
\n
• Proficient bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish to serve our diverse clientele effectively.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting, with a focus on children, adults, and families.
\n
• A strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and respect towards diverse family practices and customs.
\n
• Readiness to engage with clients and staff across varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations, including completing required HIPAA training.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, ideal candidates will have experience in specific therapeutic modalities or specializations such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss counseling, or perinatal mental health. Familiarity with software tools like Microsoft Office and experience with EHR systems is also beneficial. Additionally, a history of working with insurance panels will be advantageous for integration within the clinic.

Compensation and Benefits\n
