Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, develop diagnostic formulations, and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Deliver compassionate and effective individual therapy to a wide range of clients, including adolescents and adults, and couples/families if qualified.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with the standards set by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and insurance protocols.

• Actively participate in peer consultation and case conferencing to foster professional development and enhance team collaboration.
\n
• Adhere to ethical standards and best practices, incorporating cultural humility in all aspects of your work.

• Utilize EMR and telehealth technology to streamline services and expand access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC at The Still Point, you will be connecting with a diverse group of clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Our approach is rooted in culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, ensuring that every client feels understood in their context. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, advocating for and supporting their unique needs, while helping them navigate their challenges and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Active California licensure as an LPCC in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
\n
• Eligibility to practice independently within the state, demonstrating your competence and professionalism.
\n
• Completion of 6 semester units or equivalent of supervised experience working with couples and families, if providing those services.
\n
• A demonstrated commitment to social justice, with experience addressing the needs of diverse populations.
\n
• Ability to employ at least one evidence-based therapeutic modality (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or other trauma-informed therapeutic practices).

• Proficiency in technology, particularly with telehealth systems and electronic documentation tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in counseling or psychotherapy, ideally within an outpatient setting.

• Pertinent training or certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches or mental health interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
