Part-Time Family Assistant in Steele Creek for a 13 and 16-Year-Old

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Steele Creek area in finding a Part-Time Family Assistant for their 13-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Flexibility to work additional hours depending on the children’s activity schedules would be a plus.

The best Family Assistant would be reliable, proactive, and flexible. It is important that the Family Assistant is comfortable supporting a busy household and transporting children safely to and from activities. In the summer months, the family assistant will be responsible for transporting the children to and from camp, tutoring, and other summer activities. Then, when school begins, the family assistant will help transport the children home from school and to various activities. During times when the children are not at home, the Family Assistant will be asked to help with household management tasks listed below. The family is seeking a Family Assistant who will be able to anticipate the needs of their home and keep their home running smoothly each day.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Transport children from school and to activities as needed

• Ensure they are prepared for their activities and the next day of school

• Engage with them on an age-appropriate level

Household Duties Include (Children are priority):

• Family laundry

• Family meal prep, preparing ingredients for family meals

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Grocery Shopping

• Running errands

• Personal Shopping

• Organizing

• Home vendor scheduling and management

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional Nanny, House Management, or Family Assistant experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Family Assistant should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts June 1st

• Legal pay is offered at $25 -$28 hour, depending on experience
