School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Hickory Flat, Mississippi

Qualifications/Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP - CCC certification
• State licensure (or eligibility to obtain) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, families, and administrators
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals
• Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse backgrounds and needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations
• Stay current with best practices, new research, and state/federal guidelines in speech-language services
