Health and Safety Officer

Salary: USD40 - USD45 per hour At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to work with a leading company in the construction sector. This is a local position focused on ensuring safety performance and compliance on construction sites, with a preference for candidates experienced in Amazon projects. Shift Patterns 8-10 hour shifts, 5-6 days per week is normal. Pay Rates 40.00 - 45.00 USD hourly Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a closely related field with at least 3 years of full-time construction safety management experience. Alternatively, a board-certified safety credential (CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of full-time construction safety management experience. Alternatively, a current OSHA 500 certification (or Canadian equivalent) with at least 6 years of full-time construction safety management experience. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Role Collaborate with operations and site management to align initiatives with safety performance goals. Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety programs. Review accident and injury data to identify needs for new or modified safety programs. Engage the workforce to enforce safe behaviors and maintain a positive safety culture.
