Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across the age spectrum, including physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status, as well as nutrition, pain, and patient/family education.
• Formulate, individualize, and update goal-directed, prioritized plans of care based on patient diagnosis and anticipated outcomes, incorporating patient and family involvement.
• Evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of care provided, adjusting the plan of care as necessary and documenting all pertinent information accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Implement care in a safe, skillful, and continuous manner; delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among health care team members.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health care team while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor and service philosophy.
• Assist with orientation and training of new and existing staff and students, and ensure team compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months.
• Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years.
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed for a single position, dates must clarify when each system was used.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Acute care facility experience.
