Job Description:

We are looking for a technician to support the testing, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment. The candidate will follow technical instructions, use engineering drawings and diagrams, perform equipment checks, record test results, and help ensure equipment operates correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical equipment.
• Assemble, adjust, repair, and replace equipment components as needed.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks to ensure equipment operates accurately.
• Read and follow schematics, engineering drawings, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Operate testing equipment and perform technical tests according to established procedures.
• Collect, organize, and record test data and results in the required format.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to testing and technical activities.
• Identify equipment issues and report problems that require additional attention.
• Support production, operations, maintenance, quality testing, and process improvement activities.
• Follow established technical procedures and safety requirements.
• Assist new or entry-level employees with technical tasks when needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience required.
• Vocational or technical education or certification may be required in addition to work experience.
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify technical problems.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Experience with equipment testing, calibration, adjustment, or maintenance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record test data.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and established procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with internal teams.
• Ability to work independently under moderate supervision.
• SAP knowledge, work order processing
• Computer literacy, office suite.

Additional Requirements:

• 100% onsite position; the candidate must be available to work at the Plainfield, IN location every day.
• Ability to perform hands-on technical work involving equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
