Instructional Design Contractor

OverviewWe’re looking for an early-career instructional or graphic designer who’s excited to grow, contribute, and collaborate with a team that values creativity and continuous learning. In this role, you’ll support training and development initiatives across our distribution centers, store operations, and support office. This position is a contract (1099) to potential hire, offering an opportunity for growth within our organization.You’ll build skills in instructional design, adult learning principles, and content creation while helping us develop engaging learning experiences that make a difference. We’re a team that values care, ownership, and thinking differently, and we’re excited to welcome someone who shares that mindset.Overview of ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the training team to design and develop impactful learning materials, programs, and toolsApply graphic design skills to create visually engaging training assetsBuild asynchronous eLearning and blended learning experiences that meet learner and business needsUse frameworks like ADDIE and Action Mapping to support your design processContribute creative solutions and fresh thinkingStay open to learning new technologies, tools, and approachesQualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and PublisherExperience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere ProFamiliarity with tools like Vyond or similar animation/video platformsBasic experience creating or editing short-form videosA desire to contribute to meaningful learning experiences in a fast-paced environmentAn openness to exploring how AI can enhance design and development work
