Travel Pay Rate: $2074 weekly ($23/hr w2 + $1246/week stipend)

Local Pay Rate: $44/Hr on w2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Telemetry RN to join a busy acute care hospital in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for adult and geriatric telemetry patients with cardiac, respiratory, renal, and medical-surgical conditions. This role involves continuous cardiac monitoring, management of cardiac drips, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced telemetry environment.

Duties

• Monitor and assess telemetry patients with cardiac and medical-surgical conditions.
• Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies.
• Manage peripheral IVs, central lines, and PICC lines.
• Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, ESRD, and other acute conditions.
• Monitor patients receiving cardiac drips and other specialized therapies.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care, including post-cardiac catheterization patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Float to other appropriate units as needed.

Requirements

• Compact or TX state RN license .
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience .
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs and managing central lines.
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
