Automotive Title Specialist

Title ClerkJaguar Land Rover and Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia SC is seeking an experienced Title Clerk for a Full Time position. Applicant must demonstrate good administration, organizational and communication skills.Must have basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions. Good computer skills and a working knowledge title software of CDK computer system preferred but not required.Previous title work experience is required. Must have knowledgeWe Offer:Health, Dental, Medical, Vision after 60 days401KPaid Time OffResponsibilities:Process title work for outgoing Dealer trades.Re-assign all trade titlesPrepare titles for auctionsReconcile customer DMV refunds and cut refund checksUpdate schedules for registrations, titles, and lien pay offs.Cut lien pay off checks.Perform basic and routine accounting functionsMaintain log for returned finance contractsMaintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned.Requirements:Previous automotive dealership accounting experience requiredWorking knowledge of title processesProficient with standard computer software and accounting softwareExcellent customer service and communication skills
