Entry Level Accounting Associate

Mills Automotive Group is seeking an entry level accounting associate for a full time position for our Jaguar Land Rover and Ford Lincoln locations in Columbia, SC. Applicant must demonstrate good administration and organization skills.

Responsibilities:

• Tag & title assistance
• Scanning and filing documents
• Inventory entry
• Internal deal audits
• Deal checklist validation
• Out of state title preparation
• Lien payoff preparation
• MSO and title tracking and follow up
• Used car purchases
• Support office personnel
• Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts for wholesales, dealer trades, lien payoffs, etc.
• Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions
• Positive attitude
• High attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Previous dealership experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of title processes is a plus
• Notary public is a plus
