Automotive Dealership Accounting Clerk

Entry Level Accounting Associate
Mills Automotive Group is seeking an entry level accounting associate for a full time position for our Jaguar Land Rover and Ford Lincoln locations in Columbia, SC. Applicant must demonstrate good administration and organization skills.

Responsibilities:
- Tag & title assistance
- Scanning and filing documents
- Inventory entry
- Internal deal audits
- Deal checklist validation
- Out of state title preparation
- Lien payoff preparation
- MSO and title tracking and follow up
- Used car purchases
- Support office personnel
- Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts for wholesales, dealer trades, lien payoffs, etc.
- Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions
- Positive attitude
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills
- Previous dealership experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of title processes is a plus
- Notary public is a plus
