Overview Practice Manager - TheraPlay Spot About Us We\'re an award-winning pediatric outpatient therapy practice in Wichita\'s Delano district, where excellent care meets playful environments. Our OT, PT, and speech therapists help children succeed where they\'ve previously struggled and yes, we have an office dog named Heidi who\'s perpetually hungry and excellent at moral support. Responsibilities What You\'ll Actually Do Lead the team: Be the right arm of the Practice Owner, support and guide the billing coordinator, supervise and back the front office staff, and collaborate with the leadership team Be the insurance whisperer: Tackle next-level claim and billing issues, analyze payment trends, and negotiate with providers Keep everything running: Manage communications, implement policies, coordinate meetings, and handle complex parent questions and concerns Handle the people stuff: Onboarding, HR support, conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism Solve problems: Anticipate consequences and make logical decisions, turn billing conflicts into happy families and payment solutions, always look for the win-win-win (that is, for our team member, the parent/client, and the company) What We Really Need Medical office experience with managing teams [3+ years] Medical insurance experience (claims, payments, authorizations, appeals) [5+ years] Excellence at analyzing EOBs and spotting errors Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Tasks) Mindful communication and outstanding organizational skills Team player who thrives in dynamic healthcare environments Professional demeanor with positive attitude Confidential, detail-oriented, self-accountable High school diploma (Associate\'s degree preferred) Bonus Points For Insurance credentialing and rate negotiation experience Comfort with collections Great sense of humor Willingness to share doggy snacks with Heidi What\u2019s In It for You Compensation & Time Off Competitive compensation package Up to 5 weeks PTO (starts at 2 weeks, increases yearly) Health & Wellness Direct Primary Care membership (unlimited visits, no co-pays!)
