Responsibilities Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Renders individualized, age‑specific bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. Performs all aspects of clinical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. May assist with compilation and reporting of procedural information to benchmarking, regulatory, or accreditation agencies as required. Participates with all team members to provide and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Special Skills Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with team members. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with occasional periods of above‑average pressure. Ability to tolerate long periods of standing and to wear lead aprons during procedures. Excellent customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Minimum Requirements Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in Emergency Department, ICU, or procedural setting nursing. Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school. Certifications: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS) with renewal every two years. Preferred Requirements Experience: CVICU, ICU, or minimum 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown. At least one (1) year of prior Cardiac Cath/EP Lab experience. Hemodynamics experience. Education: BSN. Certifications: Certification in specialty area of practice. Certified as a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
