About the Role:
Purple Moon Early Learning Center in Northglenn, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally driven lesson plans and activities for toddlers
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
Maintain open, positive communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols in accordance with state childcare licensing regulations
Assist with diapering, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive, team-oriented learning environment
Requirements:
Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Level 2 Crediential, or equivalent early childhood education coursework
Previous experience of 1 year or more working with toddlers or young children in a childcare or preschool setting required
Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood education
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass a background check in compliance with Colorado childcare licensing requirements
Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
