Registered Nurse Rehabilitation

Job Summary:
Seeking an Acute Rehab RN to provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation care in a hospital setting. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing services to patients requiring acute rehabilitation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to rehabilitation needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
• Monitor patient progress and document care activities using Meditech or equivalent system.
• Educate patients and family members about post-acute care, therapies, and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient treatments.
• Ensure compliance with travel and facility policies, including timely completion of required documentation.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Indiana or Compact RN license.
• Possess 1-2 years of recent rehabilitation experience in a hospital inpatient setting.
• Demonstrate prior travel nursing experience; previous travel assignments preferred.
• Be able to start as soon as possible following travel application approval.
• Ensure current references within the last 12 months from a direct supervisor are available.
• Comply with Tier 2 travel requirements and RTO policies, with at least 2+ years of specialist experience.
