Job Description:Capstone is currently seeking a Director, Capstone Solutions. In this role, the individual will act as a senior, client-facing advisor providing government relations support to corporate clients. Sitting at the intersection of policy, politics, and business, this person will help companies navigate complex legislative and regulatory environments, assess risk, and shape strategies that align with evolving public policy dynamics.The Director will serve as a trusted extension of clients’ internal teams, while also playing a central role in originating and growing client relationships. This is a highly commercial role combining policy expertise, client leadership, and business development.Capstone is a global policy research and consulting firm with presence in Washington DC, New York, Houston, London, Paris, Brussels, and Mumbai. We hire individuals of exceptional talent, skill, and potential, and provide an environment that is conducive to one’s professional and personal growth, allowing each employee to reach their fullest potential.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a strategic advisor to corporate clients on legislative, regulatory, and political developments impacting their businessAct as an outsourced government relations partner, translating policy changes into actionable business strategyDrive business development, including sourcing new opportunities, closing complex, high-value engagements, and expanding existing accountsBuild and maintain senior-level client relationships, including regular interaction with C-suite executivesPartner with internal analysts to deliver cross-sector insights and integrated advisory solutionsManage and execute multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and responsivenessIdentify emerging policy trends and proactively position Capstone’s capabilities with current and prospective clientsQualifications:Proven experience in government relations, public policy, or a related advisory roleStrong track record of business development, including closing high-value deals and growing client accountsDeep understanding of legislative and regulatory processes and their impact on corporate strategy and investment decisionsExperience advising senior stakeholders, with excellent communication skills and executive presenceBackground in consulting, policy advisory, investor relations, or strategic accounts, ideally at the Director or VP levelStrong stakeholder management and project oversight skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDemonstrated commercial acumen, high emotional intelligence, and ability to build trust with clientsAbility to connect policy insights to business outcomes in a clear and compelling wayThe ideal candidate is a policy-savvy, commercially driven leader who can operate as both a trusted advisor and a revenue generator owning client relationships from origination through delivery.​The expected compensation for this role is $200,000 - $220,000 annually, plus eligibility for Capstone's annual bonus pool.We are an equal opportunity employer.
