Quality Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the food industry, is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting Innovation and Renovation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements for new product development and technology projects.
• Perform Food Safety Assessments and develop pHACCP and rMMS documentation for new products and processes.
• Support factory implementation of quality and safety standards through training and technical assistance.
• Participate in internal audits and support visits from regulatory bodies such as FDA or USDA.
• Assist in preparation for ISO and NMS certifications, ensuring adherence to standards and continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience in food industry quality, R&D, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000 standards is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of food safety and quality systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively and transfer knowledge across teams.
