Project Estimator Aegis Worldwide · Dallas, TX United States (On-site) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, pricing, and resource planning to support project profitability and overall success across manufacturing and construction initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for manufacturing and construction projects Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to define scope and resource needs Utilize estimating and design tools such as RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel Research and evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs while monitoring market trends Identify project risks, cost‑saving opportunities, and value‑engineering options Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support planning and execution Participate in project reviews, vendor evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred 7+ years of experience in project estimation, cost engineering, or related roles Proficiency with RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred ASPE or DBIA certification is a plus Additional Details Up to 25% travel required Employment contingent upon background check #J-18808-Ljbffr
