Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible for ABESPA AL SLP Certification and/or AL SLP DOE Certification (can begin with one certification while pending the other)
• Current SLP-CCC credential
• Prior experience with school-age children, ideally within 3rd to 6th grade
• Dedication to evidence-based assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
• Complete screenings, evaluations, and create personalized IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support whole-child development
• Maintain timely and thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the success of each student
