​ Schedule:

• ​7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role follows a rotating bi-weekly schedule, consisting of a five-day workweek in one week and a four-day workweek in the following week.
• Must be available to work overtime or weekends if needed.

Pay:

• $​26.00 an hour. We pay weekly

Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a ​ Quality Control Lab Technician for our client in the  Houston, TX 77055area.

Job Overview:

​This position plays a key role in testing raw material and finished product batches.

Key Responsibilities:

• ​Testing of incoming raw materials per standard operating procedures
• Testing of finished product per standard operating procedures
• Inspection of incoming finished goods produced by third parties per standard operating procedures
• Inspection of the production lines
• Maintaining QC records and product retention samples
• Assist QA/QC Manager in product complaint investigations
• Assist QA/QC Manager on special projects as assigned
• Assist the Research & Development group on projects as assigned
• General cleaning and maintenance of the immediate lab area to ensure the safety of laboratory personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen​ing.
• Must have quality control experience.
• Must have chemical/lab testing experience.
• Must have hands on manufacturing industry experience working in a lab.
• ​Must be reliable, quick learner and have a positive attitude.
