About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its multi-site behavioral healthcare organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance and future direction of the organization, with a strong focus on maintaining the centrality of the recovery mission and commitment to patient care. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors, leadership team, employees, and community stakeholders to strengthen the organization, advance strategic priorities, and evaluate opportunities for growth and expansion. The CEO will be expected to lead with empathy, authenticity, and decisiveness, and to ensure that the organization's values of compassion, respect, and innovation are reflected in all aspects of its operations. Candidates for the CEO position should have a proven track record of executive leadership in a relevant field, such as behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, or human services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of substance use disorders, recovery services, and the financial and operational realities of nonprofit healthcare organizations. Key responsibilities for the CEO include refining and executing the organization's strategic vision, managing resources effectively, and representing the organization with external partners. The role requires a leader who can balance innovation with stewardship, is comfortable using data to drive decision-making, and is capable of leading both strategically and operationally. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a master's degree in a relevant discipline, and the candidate should be willing to be actively engaged in the communities served by the organization.
