We are a food/ beverage/ lifestyle brand based in the Bay Area looking for a creative, food-obsessed Social Media Manager to tell our culinary story. If you are a "foodie" with a particular interest in natural foods, who knows how to stop the scroll, and turn casual viewers into hungry customers, we want you on our team.
The Role
You will manage our social media presence from end to end, including three separate feeds, by creating crave-worthy content. Primarily, you will work remotely with additional pre-scheduled content days where you will work in person, and will be on the ground capturing the behind-the-scenes magic that makes what we do unique. We estimate this role taking about 10 hours per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Food & Beverage Content Creation: Script, shoot, style, and edit highly engaging short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) highlighting our menus, ingredients, and dining experience.
- Aesthetic Curation: Design gorgeous static posts, carousels, and stories that match our unique brand aesthetic and appetite appeal.
- Community Management: Cultivate a hungry, loyal digital community by engaging with followers, responding to DMs on our behalf, and interacting with local Bay Area food influencers and foodies.
- Trend Jacking: Keep a pulse on viral food trends, audio tracks, and regional culinary conversations, pivoting our content calendar to stay highly relevant.
- On-Site Content Days: Spend regular time on-site catching raw, high-quality footage of food preparation, team dynamics, and guest experiences. What You Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience managing social media specifically for restaurants, food brands, design, hospitality, or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Visual Portfolio: A strong portfolio showing your eye for food photography, food styling, and snappy, short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or in-app).
- The Foodie Pulse: Deep familiarity with the Bay Area food scene, local culinary influencers, and trending local spots.
- Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook algorithms, including how to optimize tags, locations, and descriptions for local discoverability.
