Staff Data ScientistAn enterprise client is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join its Decision Science team and help drive data-informed decisions across the PlayStation Store and digital product ecosystem. This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing and scaling experimentation programs, applying advanced causal inference methodologies, and influencing product strategy through rigorous analysis.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of large-scale A/B tests and quasi-experiments.Apply causal inference techniques such as Difference-in-Differences, Synthetic Control, and Propensity Score Matching when randomized experiments are not possible.Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, and executive stakeholders to drive business decisions.Mentor Data Scientists and provide technical leadership on experimentation best practices.Help develop and scale experimentation frameworks, measurement strategies, and internal standards.Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and modern data warehouse technologies.Location: Preferred: San Diego, San Mateo, or Los Angeles.
