Registered Nurse - Mother Baby / Postpartum

Job Summary:

Provide expert postpartum nursing care to new mothers and their babies in a family-centered maternity unit. Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care while maintaining safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor maternal and newborn patient conditions, ensuring stability and well-being.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, perform procedures, and support families during postpartum recovery.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately using electronic health records, including Meditech and CPN charting.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on postpartum health, infant care, and lactation support.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient needs and environmental changes, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with current licensure in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent Mother Baby RN experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS certification; BLS required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent patient-centered communication and a friendly, adaptable personality.
  
  
• 
  Prefer candidates with experience in transition care and recent technological updates.
  
  
• 
  Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
