Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Opportunity in California

MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician's Assistant to join a well established hospital on the central coast.

This position involves delivering comprehensive primary care to individuals and families of all ages, with an emphasis on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze results to diagnose conditions.
• Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized care to manage or prevent illness and injury.
• Perform procedures including suturing and splinting.
• Explain procedures, discuss test results, and outline prescribed treatments to patients.
• Record patient findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in the electronic medical record.
• Supervise and direct professional and ancillary staff in patient care.
• Keep up-to-date with current medical practices and advancements.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of patient information.

Education & Certifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• California State licensure.
• Current DEA licensure.
• BLS Certification.

Experience:

• Preferred: 3 years, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
