Building Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and facilities management sector, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting facility operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Building Engineer Pay Range: $22/Hr What's the Job? Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems within the facility. Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Conduct inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems to verify proper operation. Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan. Respond to emergency repairs and support safety protocols on-site. What's Needed? High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; additional certifications preferred. Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift loads of 50 lbs or more. Basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and on-call for emergencies.
